Who are we?
We are a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization of state-permitted wildlife rehabilitators. All our members are volunteers and reside in Tarrant and the surrounding counties. We take in hundreds of wild animals every year and we need your help so we can assist other wildlife in need. We do not receive any monetary help from any local or government agencies. We depend solely on public donations.
Texas Metro Wildlife Rehabilitators primary mission is the rehabilitation and subsequent release of ill, injured, or orphaned native wildlife back to their natural habitats.
What do we do?
We rehabilitate small mammals like cottontails, opossums, squirrels, raccoons, bats, and skunks. Our organization also provides continuing education programs to our members and educates the public regarding the needs of our wild neighbors. Every year we take in and care for hundred of wild animals and release them back to their natural habitats.
